My Study Fund
Recurring and one-off tuition support from family and friends
My Study Fund lets students create a free Fund Page describing their education costs and receive one-off or recurring support from family, friends and their community, paid through Stripe including Apple Pay. Supporters are charged a platform fee; students keep 100% of what is pledged.

The problem.
Students facing a funding gap after financial aid and loans had no simple way to turn their existing personal network — family group chats, coaches, community — into recurring tuition support beyond informal, one-off asks.
What we built.
- Student fund-page builder (photo, story, goal) designed to be completed in about 60 seconds
- Stripe one-off and recurring payments with Apple Pay support
- A share kit built for family group chats rather than public social posts
- Automatic email receipts for supporters
- Content hub covering financial-aid gaps (FAFSA, Parent PLUS cap) aimed at organic search
- Supporter-side platform fee (5-7%) so students keep 100% of pledged amounts
What it does.
Fund page in 60 seconds
A student adds a photo, story and goal to publish a page, with drafting help included.
Flexible giving
Supporters can give once or commit to a recurring monthly amount, cancel any time.
Apple Pay checkout
Supporters can give via Apple Pay or card with instant emailed receipts.
Share kit for group chats
A built-in share kit is designed for family group chats, where the platform says most support originates.
Progress updates
Students post short updates that supporters follow directly from the fund page.
Students keep 100%
The platform fee is added on top for supporters rather than deducted from what the student receives.
