English-taught German degree search with visa and cost guidance
UniChapter indexes English-taught degree programs at German universities with live deadlines and true costs, paired with an AI advisor that scores programs against a student's background and country-specific guides to the visa, financing and relocation process. It focuses on applicants from India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh and the United States.

The problem.
Students researching German degrees had to piece together deadlines, tuition reality (which programs are genuinely free), visa requirements and the blocked-account process from scattered university pages and generic study-abroad tools that cover 20+ countries too broadly to verify country-specific detail.
What we built.
- Program database of 1,818 English-taught degrees at 192 German universities, sourced primarily from the DAAD database
- AI advisor that scores every tracked program against a student's free-text profile for deadline feasibility, budget and subject fit
- Country-specific guide content for five applicant corridors (India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh, United States)
- A free 10-step relocation course covering shortlisting through Anmeldung
- Deep guides on the blocked account (Sperrkonto), visa appointments, DAAD scholarships and health insurance
- City comparison pages with rent ranges for German student cities
What it does.
Live intake board
1,818 programs are filterable by deadline, tuition status and university, sourced from official DAAD listings.
AI fit advisor
A student describes their background in plain language and gets scored matches with the specific gaps to fix.
Country corridor guides
Separate guides for India, Nigeria, Vietnam, Bangladesh and US applicants cover APS/WAEC/CGPA requirements specific to each.
Relocation course
A free 10-step course walks through the blocked account, visa, WG search and registration in order.
City comparisons
Rent ranges and city character are compared across Berlin, Munich, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt and Stuttgart.
Source-linked deadlines
Every program deadline links back to the university's or DAAD's own page rather than relying on UniChapter's word alone.
